Backend Developer (NestJS, JavaScript)

Position Overview:

Cusmat Technologies is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with proficiency in NestJS and Firebase to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality web applications, coordinating with other team members, and working on server-side applications. Knowledge of Next.js, Django or Angular is highly appreciated, and individuals with experience in one or both will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Developing and Maintaining Web Applications:

• Develop robust and scalable web applications using NestJS, JavaScript, Firebase and other relevant technologies.
• Maintain and enhance existing web applications to ensure optimal performance and usability.

Collaboration and Coordination:

• Collaborate with the frontend team for data requirements to ship valuable features.

Code Quality and Best Practices:

• Ensure the quality of the code through code reviews, and adhering to best practices.
• Implement automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows.

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

• Create detailed documentation for the developed applications.
• Share knowledge and expertise with team members to foster a collaborative learning environment.

Skills:

Mandatory:

• Proficiency in NestJS, Firebase and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL).

Preferred:

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as Next.js and Angular.
• Strong understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
